SPECIFICATIONS
* Digital Ammeter Display allows you to see what current is drawn when you press a button on the remote control. Whether it is the lights or the electric brakes internal coils drawing current, you will see and determine any actions. Such action would be if the Electric brake button no.6 is pressed and the current is less than expected, because each coil in the brake system should be around 4amps. A single Axle, two wheels should read around 8amps. If the reading is significantly less, e.g. 5amps, it could be a fault with the wiring or coil inside the brake system that requires attention. This additional Feature on this version of the caravan trailer tester makes the extra cost worth while.
^Works with both single and dual axel trailers and caravan electric brakes. As soon as you press the wireless remote brake button, all wheels should stop from rotating. Simply jack up for wheels to be off the ground and test. You will also hear a buzzer from the black box when the wireless brake button is pressed until released.
#You can also purchase or seek yourself from local automotives adapters to simply plug in to the tester box to change from one type to another, such as 7 pin round to a 7 pin flat, etc.
On the large 7 pin round socket there is Two LED's that will illuminate when pressing Buttons 1,2 and 4. Press button 1 (Left) or button 2 (Right) indicator will illuminate a yellow LED. Pressing Button 4 (STOP Lights) will illuminate a red LED. In addition there is a Blue LED BUZZER near the socket that sounds when pressing the Electric Brake button on the wireless remote.
** Wireless remote control is provided with suitable range for you to connect the main tester box and walk to the back of the trailer or caravan to press the various buttons on the remote to illuminate the lights. In addition you can jack up the trailer or caravan wheel and press the remote brake button whilst you spin the wheel and the wheel should stop demonstrating that your electric brake on that wheel is working.
UPDATED version from June 2026 it has a 12 volt rechargeable 12Ah AGM battery and it now includes a 12v cigarette lighter socket to support things like tire inflators and other devices. It now has a battery level indicator to give you a status of the battery as well as a Audible Buzzer when No.6 Button pressed for Electric brakes and a Built-in 15A auto reset fuse protection rather than a manual fuse.

Everything supplied except the 12Ah AGM battery has a 12 months limited warranty whereas the battery has only 3 months warranty. Return postage and packaging for warranty claims are at the expense to the buyer as explained in the terms and conditions and sale on the product website.

We may be able to provide extra features or a lithium battery instead of a AGM battery if you contact us to discuss and work out the additional costings. Shipping Becomes a problem with lithium batteries and AGM safer.
